May 06, 2024

Morgan Haenchen, an associate in Haynes Boone’s Houston office, has been selected to attend the 2024 American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) National Trial College.

Designed for young trial attorneys, the competitive program consists of five days of intensive instruction taught by highly experienced trial lawyers from all parts of the country, sharing their techniques of trial preparation and the art of effective advocacy. The students also have the opportunity to work with experienced and accomplished expert witnesses before ending the week with mock jury trials.

"Attending the ABOTA National Trial College is an incredible opportunity to refine my trial skills and learn from some of the best in the field,” Haenchen said. “I'm excited to immerse myself in this intensive program and bring valuable insights back to our team at Haynes Boone."

Leaders at Haynes Boone greatly value the opportunity for the firm’s associates to earn this kind of experience.

“Morgan's selection for the prestigious ABOTA National Trial College underscores our commitment to fostering growth and excellence within our team,” said Lauren Brogdon, Houston litigation partner and chair of the Haynes Boone Crisis Management Practice Group. “We're thrilled to see Morgan embark on this transformative journey, honing skills that will elevate her practice and drive our team’s success in the courtroom."

The ABOTA Trial College will be held at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law from August 4-9, 2024.
