Haynes and Boone's Austin office was established in 1986.  The fast-paced office is situated just south of the University of Texas, only blocks from the Texas Capitol.  Austin is known for its richness in politics, technology, culture and creativity, including the honor of being termed the "Live Music Capital of the World."  Austin features many special venues that showcase local musicians, as well as drawing talented musicians and fans from around the world.

We work closely with Austin's dynamic emerging technology industry, serving as leaders of important governmental and business alliances like the Texas Emerging Technology Fund and the Central Texas Regional Center of Innovation and Commercialization.   For its creative concepts in developing effective alliances, the Austin office of Haynes and Boone has been honored by the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce with its Innovative Business Award.

In the Community
We are committed to being active and involved in the Austin community.  Our lawyers serve on non-profit boards such as Communities in Schools, Eanes Education Foundation, Any Baby Can, and United Way.   Many of our lawyers and professional staff members enthusiastically serve as volunteers for area non-profits. 

Getting Here
Our office is located in One American Center at the corner of 6th and Congress Avenue.  The garage is accessed from 7th Street between Colorado Avenue and Congress Avenue (7th Street is one way going east).  This is the "One American Center" garage.
